What even is this?

A game aid for a specific, more difficult play style within the game Phasmophobia.

There are several websites that help you identify ghosts with evidence during normal gameplay - but not all ghost details can be found in the ghost book! You will discover several behaviors over time, or by watching videos/streams of other players.

Normally, you identify the ghost type by collecting up to 3 pieces of evidence. However, each ghost also has unique behaviors and characteristics that can be used to identify them or to rule them out. For example, a Jinn can never turn off the main power switch (unless too many lights have been turned on, causing the fuse to blow), while a Hantu can never turn it on.

The phasmo.guru website is designed to help players identify ghosts based solely on these behaviors. These characteristics are primarily identified through hunts, and only to a small extent outside of hunts. In this context, it is highly advisable to use a custom difficulty with as little sanity as possible - or with no sanity at all.

If you've noticed any new/changed ghost behaviors, please let me know. It's best to include video footage in which you were able to reproduce the new behavior over and over again. However, there have already been numerous assumptions presented as evidence without actually being true/reproducible.

If you want to contribute YouTube videos to investigate ghosts or to prove theories, the video has to really focus on that and be of adequate quality. Examples of no-gos:

• Noisy microphone (OBS -> add RNNoise filter to your microphone -> better)
• Too low resolution (at least 720p, at least 30 FPS)
• Laggy recordings
• Missing game sound
• Stream alerts of any kind
• Other people present who talk about everything under the sun
• Thanking viewers for subscriptions, donations, etc
• Unedited video material in which the person recording gets something to eat in the middle of the video, etc
• Other games that can be seen at the same time or in between

You are, of course, allowed to promote yourself in your videos. However, political statements and anything that violates German or EU law is prohibited.
